After all is said and done, you are left with a sense of confusion. You wonder about the purpose of it all. Was this some kind of twisted art experiment?
Or were we just all part of a grand, cosmic prank?

Worst Day Ever
It all started with the case of morning hair. I couldn't figure it to look presentable. As I was dashing out the door, I fell and dropped my lunch all over the carpet. To make matters worse, I was totally late for school.

By the time I reached my destination, I was completely drained. This day, this terrible day will be forever remembered as a day to forget.

A series/chain/cascade of unfortunate/awful/disastrous events unfolded/occurred/piled on top each other, leaving me feeling like I was in a nightmare/horror movie/comedy of errors. It's the kind of situation where you just want to run away and hide.
